Wyo. Stat. §1-3-105 provides that an action for childhood sexual abuse may be brought 8 years after a minor's 18th birthday or 3 years after the discovery.
In McCreary v. Weast, 971 P.2d 974 (Wyo. 1999) the Supreme Court articulated a realization-type definition of the discovery rule, holding that the period of limitations does not begin to run until the plaintiff discovers her psychic injury, even though the physical injury occurred earlier. The victim was represented by Robert J. Reese of Reese & Mathey, 160 E. Flaming Gorge, Green River, Wyoming 82935
